Simon Jackson

Simon Jackson
Managing Director
Simon serves as the Managing Director for Amwins International Underwriting (AIU). He supports all the brands that sit under AIU, including Contour Underwriting, Unicorn Underwriting and Amwins Amplify. He has operated within the Lloyd's market for over 20 years, holding roles at Amlin, Beazley and IQUW. His underwriting background is within the Property space, where he has overseen both D&F and Binding Authority books of business operating out of the UK, US and Asia. He has a post-graduate degree in Natural Hazards. Outside of underwriting, Simon’s interests include skiing and the mountains.

Jack is the Underwriting Director of the Marine Cargo division at Contour Underwriting. With over 18 years of industry experience starting off at Wellington syndicate before specialising in Marine Cargo at Catlin, Jack has gone on to successfully build new books of business at Hiscox & TMHCC. When not underwriting or in London, Jack and his family have a passion for travelling. He can also be found on the water in Cornwall - surfing, rowing, or training for his next adventure or challenge.
